MISSION

Eugene Civic Affordable Housing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and supporting affordable housing in downtown Eugene, Oregon.

Downtown Eugene is the vibrant center of our community, holding its social, economic, and cultural essence. Despite significant improvements by the City of Eugene, ongoing challenges continue to affect the quality of life for those living, working, and visiting downtown. One of the City’s key priorities is increasing housing availability in this core area.

Our mission at Civic Affordable Housing is to enhance the quality of life in downtown neighborhoods by providing affordable housing for individuals underserved by the private market. We focus on low- to middle-income individuals, including the elderly, working households, and others who struggle to find suitable housing in the current market.

As a nonprofit housing developer, our goal is to build affordable housing units for low-income families, seniors, and people with special needs. We are committed to offering quality, safe housing opportunities to those who lack the economic resources to access them. We are in the process of securing our 501(c)(3) status and have a dedicated team with expertise in real estate, urban planning, and public policy to support our efforts.

Our work goes beyond development. We are also committed to enhancing resident security, stability, and opportunity through practical resident services and strong community partnerships. Unlike for-profit entities that prioritize returns for shareholders, our focus is on serving the most vulnerable populations and fostering community development.
